5 Rimol Greenhouses Hard at Work

Just about 1,000 feet from the landmark George Washington Bridge that leads into Manhattan, is the flagship store of Metropolitan Plant Exchange. Hence the name “metropolitan” truly describes Frank Vastano’s three garden centers located in Northern New Jersey.


Donaldson Farms is a family-owned and operated Northern New Jersey farm that features hundreds of acres of fresh fruits and vegetables, pumpkin picking, berry picking, and apple picking. Their Rimol greenhouses not only provide a place to grow produce, but welcoming retail environments too!


Richfield Farms in New Jersey keep their greenhouses open to their customers year-round! The fourth generation of the family is now actively helping to ensure that the farm lives on well into the 21st century.


Tom Osborne, general manager of the Osborne’s Agway stores and son of David and Louise Osborne, said the family is very happy with their Rimol greenhouses, and it fits with the décor and function of the store. “We like the Matterhorn because of its natural ventilation and the attractive style,” Osborne said. “The greenhouses give us the space to grow, which is important”.
