We at Rimol are big supporters of urban agriculture. We have worked with various inner-city groups in Boston, New York, and other places to help bring greenhouses to improving areas.
As we cited in our previous blog post “Going Vertical,” the future of greenhouses is to get more food to the growing world population. However, we also think it is bringing greenhouses to urban areas. If you have not seen this on our website, please check out what we wrote about the Revision Urban Farm in Boston that we wrote this summer. They are doing great things to bring people together, teach responsibility while providing residents something tangible they can call their home, and grow fresh and healthy produce. I think you will really like this project. Click here to learn more about Victory Programs, the organization that runs the farm.
